The story of the Creation, drawing on two of the most ancient and sacred texts:
“Genesis 1” from the Hebrew bible (the first book of Moses), and the hymn of Creation (hymn 10.129) from the Hindu Rig – Veda, translated to Hebrew by Prof. Yochanan Greenshpon.
The piece combines the separate texts into a new one, making “a whole which is more than the sum of its parts”, by providing answers from the Bible to questions from the Rig-Veda, and mutual commentaries of the texts to common subjects of the Creation.
