Maxim Levy

Born in Bulgaria, 1948. Immigrated to Israel in 1959. Graduated the Rubin Academy of Music in Tel-Aviv, studied composition with Prof. L.Schidlowsky. Occupied in musical education, mainly in the field of wind and brass bands. Recently developed a computer program which allows the printing os sheet music on any computer without the use of musical software. A CD with Israeli songs arranged for all symphonic instruments is currently available.Other musical activities include composing and arranging didactic material for various vocal and instrumental ensembles. Maxims’ compositions have been performed by leading musicians in Israel. Maxim is the winner of the Academy Composition Prize for 1988.
