Shlomo Omer

Shlomo Omer Born In Kibutz Mishmar-Ha’emek, Israel, 1943. Shlomo began his musical career as a violinist, played in the kibuts movement orchestra. He was academicaly directed by his father, the composer B.Omer , as well as I.Saday, A.Haydu, S.Natra, and studied conducting with G.Bartini and A.Itay. Shlomo studied at the Tel-Aviv Rubin Academy and graduated as Senior music teacher at “Oranim” seminar. He has taken part and conducted the “Kibuts Artsi Choir” and performed several of his songs. In 1996 he was awarded by his home town Tiv’on for his musical activity. Today he is conducting choirs, guiding vocal ensembles, composing instrumental and vocal music and arrangements for Israeli songs.
