Oded Assaf

Oded Assaf Oded Assaf was born in Israel, 1947. He studied in Tel Aviv University (political sciences), in the Rubin Academy of Music in Jerusalem, and in the University of London – Goldsmiths' College. Since the mid-eighties he is involved in composing, teaching (in Tel Aviv University and in the Levinsky College of Education), and writing about music.
His compositions have been commissioned, performed and recorded by soloists such as Astrit-Baltzan-Zorman, Amit Dolberg, Ron Merhavi, Ruben Seroussi, Michal Tal and Idit Shemer, and by groups such as Israel Contemporary Players and Musica Nova.
