Hadas Goldschmidt Halfon

Ms. Halfon is the recipient of the Israel Prime Minister Award for Composers 2012.
Her compositions have been performed with the, The Israel Chamber Orchestra, L.a. Jewish Symphony Orchestra, The Israel Sinfonietta, Symphonet Raanana, Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra, Musica Nova Ensemble, Caprisma Ensemble, Mr. Chen Zimbalista, Mr. Kurt Muroki, Amber Trio, Mr. Ralph Van Raat, Concertante Ensemble, Jupiter Symphony Chamber Players among others.
Her music was featured recently in two documentary films.
Among her compositions are two Concerti for Marimba, Percussion and Orchestra, Guitar Concerto, "Prelude" for Symphony Orchestra, "Criss cross" for chamber orchestra, "Stills" for chamber orchestra, Piano Trio, Clarinet Trio, Oud Trio, String Quartet, Oboe Quartet, Brass Quartet, Duo for Clarinet and Piano, "Echoes" for Piano and more.
Ms. Halfon has graduated from the Jerusalem Rubin Academy of Music and Dance with an Artist Diploma and B.A.Mus in composition. She was studying with Prof. Haim Permont and Prof. Yinam Leef. She continued her studies in Northwestern University School of Music - Illinoise from which she graduated with M.mus in composition. Among her teachers were Prof. Alan Stout and Prof. Amnon Wollman.
She has received Grants and Scholarships from Jerusalem Rubin Academy of Music and Dance and Northwestern University School of Music
