Dror Elimelech

Born in Israel, 1956. Contemporary music composer and performer. Elimelech studied piano with Pnina Salzman, Ruth Hilman, Bart Berman and others. Studied composition with Sergiu Natra. His compositions were played in Israel and abroad. Founded and organized the series of concerts "Other Israeli Music" and "Night Happening"- forum for intuitive and experimental music. His music is mainly experimental with elements of Avant-Garde outlook. Composed for solo instruments, chamber music, live-electronics with voice and acoustic instruments, electroacoustic music, voice and opera. His work were played in various concerts and festivals, multi-media and dance performances, art exhibitions, poetry performances, and video-art-films.
